Kalabsha & Philae Temples Day Tour – Aswan

Itinerary:

1. Pick-up from Hotel / Nile Cruise – 8:00 AM

Meet your expert Egyptologist guide at your hotel or cruise ship in Aswan. Transfer in a private air-conditioned vehicle.

2. Visit Kalabsha Temple – 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM

• Located on the western bank of Lake Nasser, accessible by short boat ride or road.

• Built during the Roman era and dedicated to the Nubian god Mandulis.

• Admire the grand pylon, well-preserved reliefs, and tranquil lake views.

• Learn about the temple’s relocation as part of the UNESCO Nubian monuments rescue.

3. Transfer to Philae Marina – 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Drive to the Philae boat dock and board a motorboat to Agilkia Island.

4. Explore Philae Temple – 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM

• One of the most beautiful temples in Egypt, dedicated to the goddess Isis.

• Discover the myth of Isis and Osiris through vivid reliefs and sacred chambers.

• Enjoy time to explore, take photos, and learn about its relocation from the flooded Philae Island.

5. Return Transfer – 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM

Boat ride back to the mainland, followed by return transfer to your hotel or cruise.
